Storage Costs π
Imagen gives you granular control over your storage costs, by configuring the Storage Profiles
What is a storage profile?
When a file has completed transcoding the storage service will store the renditions of your file in predefined locations, this is called a Storage Profile. Each storage profile will have an independent storage location - some of which may be geared towards performance, some availability, or cost.Β Β
The screenshot above indicates where the storage service should locate each of the storage profiles.Β
By selecting separate storage locations for each different Storage Profile - choosing the right options based on the frequency of access - Imagen gives you granular control over your storage costs.
